Easiest Chicken BBQ Recipe

This delicious BBQ chicken is one of many different foods you could grill while camping, and we'll tell you how to make it. This dish is easy and scrumptious, perfect for when your cravings start hitting halfway through grilling. The smell of sweet, savory barbecue will definitely draw everyone in!

Ingredients:

  • 4 chicken legs quartered and cleaned
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1 whole lemon or 4 pieces of lime
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • Olive oil

Instructions:

  • MARINATE OVERNIGHT: In a large pot, whisk together: soy sauce, juice of lemon or lime, ketchup, and pepper. The secret to a tenderized and infused taste is to marinate your chicken overnight. Make sure to stir the ingredients well and spread the marinate evenly.

Note: Do not add salt because chicken has its own natural saltiness.

  • COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: Heat the grill to medium heat and don’t forget to oil the grates so the chicken does not stick to them in the early stages of cooking. Brush the marinated sauce over the chicken and grill for 12 to 15 minutes (flip halfway through cooking).

Note: Ensure your chicken is fully cooked by checking its internal temperature. It should be 165ºF.
